The Oracle of Mouses is Coming to Shady Pines Festival July 16-19!
The Oracle of Mouses is a retro futuristic, community art fueled, Pied Piper story about the pitfalls of mouse media. We debuted our project with great success at SOAK (see more below), and we had so much fun and connected with so many beautiful people through art. We also learned quite a bit about our presentation and we are beyond excited to bring an updated Oracle of Mouses to Shady Pines Festival at Camp Tasty's (Sandy, Oregon) in July.
There is much to look forward to. When you join us at the Oracle you will be introduced to Soiree and learn of her need to entertain The Mouses. Late every night, in the early morning hours when people are typically sleeping, she presents, Love Muse Oracle TV (lmoTV) to The Mouses, an interdimensional television broadcast from The Muse Dimension.
To help us fulfill this Pied Piper Tale, our Shady Pines community is invited to join us for Makin' Mouses, afternoon drop in art sessions where you can sculpt your own Mouse avatar. As a participant in this actively developing artistic endeavor you will place your Mouse within our project.
And in the late night/early morning hours, after the bands finish on the main stage, we will awaken The Oracle and Soiree's shows will begin. You too may witness the Mouse Media. Come see what The Mouses are raving about.

The Mouses are coming!
The Oracle
The Oracle, the center of Soiree's power and the portal from which she is able to be present in our realm. As it turns and displays her network programming, she captivates The Mouses.
In a technical sense, the Oracle projectable prism made of clear acrylic and projectable mesh. It's three sides are illuminated by 3 UST projectors, all raised on a slowly turning stage. The media is displayed in a mirroring technique we call EdgeCentric projection. The result is a deeply hypnotic and dream-like visual that pulls your mind into another dimension.
The Muse
Soiree, is an ambitious mouse media executive from the Muse Dimension. She reaches into our dimension through her portal, The Oracle, to send forth her siren's call, her late night broadcasts that lure her audience of The Mouses.
She weilds a special intuitive broadcast technology, derived of the same power that enables Cellographic to broadcast mesmerizing dreamscapes, it powers her delivery of the Love Muse Oracle TV network.
As she dances within the video prism shining in its luminous and mezmerizing rays. She is agrandized for all those who see, made more glorious by her ever growing audience. A beacon luring all to the show.

What we were going to do...
Arcida was proposed art project for 2026 but sadly did not get the funding it needed, so we are changing what we are binging to SOAK from the Oracle of Muses to the Oracle of Mouses., a giant mollusk sound stage/art installation. Arcida’s massive shell opens to display The Pearl, a translucent bubble portal and oracle of the Muses. From within, our Avatars (DJs/performers) will share the Muses songs, after the performance, Arcida closes, and while closed transforms into the oracle, a multiplanar holo display that channels visions of Muses past within The Pearl.
Arcadia is mighty, standing 20 feet high and 26 feet wide. They are illuminated in light & projections, with glistening bubbles rising up even higher.
In the day Arcida is an interesting sculpture to examine and wonder about. At night Arcida comes alive.
Arcida's shell opens to reveal The Pearl, a bubble that allows Avatars of the Muses to perform their music and performance art for us. During performance, Arcida's massive shell will illuminate with visions from the Pantheon subconsciuos.
When the show is over, the shell closes and the Pearl transforms into the Oracle with multiplanar projections giving views of surprising beauty and depth while voices of the Muse entice you like Siren's song.

Concept update - March 16 2026: Oracle Mode concept updated with more audience interactivity. People will be able to control the Oracle display from an interactive console.

We are building our own detachable airlock tunnel to facilitate movement in and out of the Pearl between sets.
The show environment will be an area laid out in an arc of approx 250° with at least 20 feet of space around the shell stage for audience to view the show from.
